Ky-ManiKy-mani , who is nearing completion of the third album he has not yet named, certainly is a superstar. Ky-maniMarley was created by Robert Nesta Marley on February 26 on the 26th of February, 1976. One Love starred Ky-mani in the role of Kassa. A compelling tale of an empathetic Reggae artist struggling with the corruption within the music industry. The world of Kassa is changed when he is introduced to a woman in a church that has beautiful voice. The film, which has still to be released in theaters, has been praised by critics as well as film festivals alike. Frank Flowers has directed Ky-Mani's feature film Haven. Haven was screened at the Toronto International Film Festival. Additionally, Ky-Mani is planning to reprise his principal part as the lead character in Shottas II that will begin production in 2004.He was only five years old old when his father died, though Ky-Mani's voice returns you to a very familiar spot. The East African word Ky-mani means "adventurous traveler" every album, or trip will be an exciting journey. The Journey, his musical journey began in 1999. A multi-faceted vision, Ky-mani found his voice and travelled the spectrum of music discovering his various talent. 2001 was the year that Many More Roads (Grammy-nominated) A "traditional" reggae album was made available, showing a more mature Ky-mani. Many More Roads, as and The Journey was a huge hit by the fans all over the world and established Ky-mani in her role of an independent "artist". Ky-Mani's musical style is one of roots reggae , interspersed with hip-hop, R&B in addition to contemporary jazz.
