Amy Smart has been a model, actress and a former American. Amy Smart, born and raised California USA began her modelling in Italy. Her Costly Affair, a 1996 TV film, was her first performance. It was a long road to get her into Starship Troopers in a smaller part. It was difficult for her to transition to acting because models were not considered as skilled actors and generally were offered smaller roles. Amy was determined to keep trying. She climbed the ladder to greater roles, starting with The 70s series and Varsity Blues film. Amy gained the recognition she'd been seeking for nearly 10 years, when her movie, Just Friends was released. Amy worked on several of the most famous movies, including the Crank series with Jason Statham as well as Shameless in which she portrayed a character who remained in the spotlight for a long time.
