Paula Patton is an actress and producer who is best known for her leading roles in the action spy movie Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol and the romantic film Precious. She was born into a middle-class household in Los Angeles, she harboured many dreams in her early years. Her mom was a film buff and inculcated a love for movies in her daughter too. Paula was a part of co-curricular school events, and she particularly enjoyed the drama. She was a huge fan of acting alongside her peers and was a participant in the school's stage productions. Hamilton Magnet Arts High School offered her numerous opportunities to be an actor throughout her schooling and she picked acting to pursue a career. She was a student at an acting program at the University of Southern California for an intensive summer program and was enthralled by it. She was offered a contract for three months to make documentaries on PBS. Following the successful completion of the task, she began being a production assistant for TV documentaries. Next, she was going to start producing documentaries. However, she had always wanted to become an actress, even though she was satisfied at her position. Her acting career began with minor roles with Will Smith in the romantic comedy Hitch. In the years since, she's played in numerous popular films and television programs.
