Anna Paquin

Anna Paquin (born Winnipeg, born in Wellington,) is a Canadian actor from Canada. Paquin, born in Winnipeg and raised by Wellington Paquin's acting debut was as Flora McGrath. For this role she received an Academy Award of Best Supporting Actress for the romantic comedy The Piano at the young age of 11. She was the second youngest recipient in Oscar history. She was only nine and had no prior experience in acting. She moved into the United States as a teen. Paquin appeared as Jane Eyre's main character when she was a teenager in Franco Zeffirelli's Jane Eyre (2000) as well as the main role of Jane Eyre in Fly Away Home (2000). Paquin appeared as Frankie Addams in a 1997 film adaptation for television of Carson McCullers's novel The Member of the Wedding and also played a part in the role of Queen Spain in Steven Spielberg's Amistad (1997). The actress played teens in the films of Hurlyburly (1998), She's All That (2000), A Walk on the Moon (2000) and played her character of the polexia Aphrodisa girl on the screen in Almost Famous (2000).
