Arianna Huffington
Arianna Stassinopoulos Huffington has been a Greek American columnist, author and entrepreneur for more than twenty years. She co-founded The Huffington Post, is the CEO and founder of Thrive Global as well an writer of 15 novels. Arianna Huffington is a TV host, journalist writer, philanthropist, and philanthropist for more than ten years. She is also the proprietor of The Huffington Post, an free-of-cost online news magazine. Originally from Greece Arianna Huffington immigrated to England with her family when she was the age of 16. At Cambridge University she earned a MA degree in Economics. First foreign-born graduate to hold the position of president in the famous debate club The Cambridge Union, at age 21 she took over the position. Then she became a conservative syndicated writer after her graduation. When The Huffington Post launched a year later, she developed an online platform for voice which offered critiques of the political landscape. The fame of Arianna led to the recruitment of a variety of renowned contributors. Arianna became famous after she was elected as an independent candidate in the California recall elections to replace Governor Davis. Alongside this, she led the Detroit Project for efficient vehicles that use less fuel. In 2009 she was recognized by Forbes as the most influential women in the media, achieving 12th position on their list and in the same year the Guardian included her in the top 100 of media lists. AOL Inc. named her president of their media company in 2011 following the bought The Huffington Post. The Huffington Post also included other AOL brands such as Engadget AOLmusic Style list as well as Patch Media. Elli Stasinopoulos is the daughter born to Konstantinos a management advisor and journalist. Although she had a close relationship with her father, the relationship she had to her mom was the defining factor in the rest of her life. At an early age, she displayed leadership qualities that remain highly respected. When she was 16 she emigrated back to United Kingdom to pursue her study and then enrolled at Girton College Cambridge. In the years of her university, she belonged to Cambridge Union. Cambridge Union debating group where she was elected the first female president and only foreign president. In 1972 she received an honorary degree in Economics. She worked as a critic, a TV host and columnist upon her graduation. The appearance she made in Face the music with Bernard Levin was also notable. She started writing books, taking his help for editing.
